ACC probes graft by Nayeemul, family

The Anti-Corruption Commission, ACC, has recently begun investigation into the alleged graft by journalist Nayeemul Islam Khan, press secretary to the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and his family members.
ACC deputy director (public relations) Aktarul Islam confirmed the matter to Jago News on Tuesday, January 7.
The recent media reports reveal the information of Tk 386 crore at 163 bank accounts belonging to Nayeemul Islam Khan, his wife and children. Of the amount, Tk 379.52 crore has been withdrawn.
Following the reports, the anti-graft body launched probe against him and his family members.
