Earthquake felt in Bangladesh
An earthquake was felt in several parts of Bangladesh, including Dhaka, on Tuesday morning. The tremor occurred at 7:05 am. However, no damage has been reported so far.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located in Tibet, China, with a magnitude of 7.1 on the Richter scale. The tremor was also felt in Nepal, India, and Bhutan, in addition to Bangladesh.
Earlier, on January 3, a moderate earthquake was felt in Dhaka, Sylhet, and various other parts of Bangladesh. The epicentre of that earthquake was in neighboring Myanmar, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
