Nahid warns against lobbying attempts using his name

Nahid Islam, the adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, has stated that any lobbying attempts made using his name will not be considered.

He made the statement on Saturday night in a post published on his verified Facebook page.

In the statement, he wrote, "If an attempt is made to lobby using my name, there is no scope for consideration. Recently, several individuals or groups have been attempting to gain illegal benefits by using my name or claiming to be my relatives, in an effort to influence various institutions, departments, and organizations. Additionally, they have been forging my signature and submitting applications to different departments, claiming that I have recommended them."

Nahid Islam further added, "Instead of considering any such lobbying or recommendations, instructions have been given to immediately inform my personal secretary, and letters have been sent to all government offices and agencies."

The adviser emphasised, "The interim government, formed through a mass uprising by the students and people, is committed to ensuring transparency and accountability in the operations of all state institutions."
