6 more members appointed to PSC

Six more members have been appointed to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, PSC, in an effort to bring pace in the recruitment process.
The newly appointed PSC members are professor Dr Shahnaj Sarkar, Md Munir Hossain, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr AF Jaglul Ahmed, Dr Md Mijanur Rahman, Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, and prof Dr Syeda Shahina Sobahn.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Thursday, January 2, appointing them.
Earlier, the government appointed eight members to the constitutional body in two phases.
With the new six, the total number of PSC members rose to 14.
