Juba League leader hacked to death in Lakshmipur

A Juba League leader was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in Lakshmipur.

The incident took place at Balaishpur village of Bashikpur union of the Lakshmipur sadar upazila on Saturday night.

The deceased is Md. Foysal, 28, son of Fazlul Karim, of the upazila. He was the president of Bashikpur ward no. 3.

In this connection, Assistant Superintendent of Police Junayet Kawsar told over phone that, Foysal was hacked to death. No one was arrested yet in this incident.
