65 DIGs, SPs transferred

In a major reshuffle, 65 officers of the ranks of deputy inspectors general (DIG), additional deputy inspectors general (Addl DIG) and superintendent of police (SP) of the Bangladesh Police have been transferred to different units.

The information was provided in two separate notifications issued by the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Wednesday, January 1.

They were transferred to the Police Headquarters, Highway Police, Range DIG Office, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), In-Service Training Center, Naval Police, Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Criminal Investigation Department, and Special Branch (SB), said the notifications.
