4 killed in gas cylinder blast at Akij Beverage Factory

A gas cylinder explosion at the Akij Beverage Factory in Habiganj, has resulted in the deaths of four people, including an engineer. The incident occurred at 9:00 am on Tuesday at the factory located in Dubai Bazar, Bahubal Upazila.

The deceased have been identified as Engineer Riaz, and workers Mahfuz, Mizan, and Gazi.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahidul Islam of the Bahubal Model Police Station confirmed the incident, stating that the explosion took place at 9:00 am, instantly killing Engineer Riaz and worker Mahfuz. Mizan and Gazi later succumbed to their injuries at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. Their bodies are currently at the hospital.
