ICT sends docs to Interpol seeking red notice for Hasina

The International Crimes Tribunal, ICT, has sent all required documents to the Interpol for issuing a red notice against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The tribunal issued an arrest warrant against Sheikh Hasina on October 17, and after that, it placed an application with all necessary documents to the Interpol for issuance of a red notice to bring back her home, the tribunal's Chief Prosecutor Md Tajul Islam told the media on Sunday, December 22.

However, the prosecution has no information about issuing the red notice, he said, adding that the Ministry of Home Affairs or the Police Headquarters will disclose this.
