Hassan Ariff's namaz-e-janaza held on SC premises

The second namaz-e-janaza of AF Hassan Ariff, adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, and the Ministry of Land, was held on the premises of the Supreme Court in Dhaka on Saturday morning.

The namaz-e-janaza took place at Supreme Court's Inner Garden around 11:00am with the participation of Appellate Division, and High Court Division judges, Supreme Court Bar Association president and other lawyers.

His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Baitul Aman Mosque in Dhanmondi in the capital after Isha prayers last night where Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and state digintaries joined.

Earlier on Friday, Hassan Ariff died of a heart attack at Labaid Specialized Hospital. He was 85.
