Bodies of 2 youths found in Cumilla

The bodies of two unidentified youths were found in a marshland in the Jafarganj area of Debidwar upazila, Cumilla, on Sunday morning.

Upon receiving the information, local police rushed to the scene but have yet to confirm the identities of the deceased. According to locals, the bodies were spotted in the marshland at around 7:00 am.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Debidwar Circle, Md. Shaheen, confirmed the incident to Jago News.

He said, “Locals informed us after finding the bodies in the Jafarganj area. Police are currently at the scene, and we are preparing to recover the bodies and send them for autopsy. The exact cause of death and those responsible for the incident are still unknown. A thorough investigation is underway to uncover the mystery.”
