The government has appointed New Age journalist Foyez Ahammad as the Senior Assistant Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Thursday (December 5) regarding his contractual appointment.
He has been appointed to this position on the fifth-grade salary scale, effective from the date of joining, subject to the tenure of the Chief Adviser or until his satisfaction (whichever occurs first).
The notification stated that Foyez has been appointed in place of the vacant post of Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser.
