Public servants to get 1 month more to submit asset accounts
The government will extend the deadline for submitting public servants’ asset accounts by December 31.
Md Mokhles ur Rahman, senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, said this in a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday.
“The deadline for submitting public servants’ wealth information will be extended by a month. We will issue a circular in this regard,” he said.
Many people do not understand how to submit property accounts as no one did this in the last 16 year and that is why, the deadline will be extended, the senior secretary added.
Earlier, the government made it obligatory for public servants to submit their wealth information by December 31 each year starting the next year.
However, November 30 has been fixed as the last date for this year.
