Govt to recruit 18,149 through 5 BCS exams

The government will recruit a total of 18,149 individuals through five Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations. Of these, 12,710 will be appointed to cadre positions, while 5,439 will be recruited for non-cadre positions.

Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, shared the information during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Sunday (November 24).

He stated that the cadre appointments will include: 2,064 from the 43rd BCS, 1,710 from the 44th BCS, 2,309 from the 45th BCS, 3,140 from the 46th BCS, and 3,487 from the 47th BCS.

In addition, the non-cadre appointments will include: 642 from the 43rd BCS, 1,791 from the 44th BCS, 1,570 from the 45th BCS, 1,111 from the 46th BCS, and 325 from the 47th BCS.
