Ban battery-run rickshaws in Dhaka in 3 days: HC

The High Court, HC, on Tuesday asked the authorities concerned to ban battery-run rickshaws in Dhaka metropolitan areas within the next three days.
The bench of Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Mahmudur Rajib passed the order after a primary hearing on a writ petition filed in this regard.
Alongside, the court issued a rule seeking an explanation as to why not taking measures in this regard would not be declared illegal.
