Dengue claims 7 more lives, 1,243 hospitalised in one day

Seven people have died from Aedes mosquito-borne dengue fever in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities this year to 297.
During the same period, 1,154 new patients were admitted to hospitals with dengue symptoms, contributing to a total of 61,817 dengue cases reported this year.
This information was provided in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday night (October 31).
