Hasnat, Sarjis file writ seeking ban on AL's political activities

A writ petition has been filed in the High Court, calling for a ban on all political activities of the Awami League.
Anti-discrimination student movement leaders Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam submitted the writ on Monday (October 28), seeking a directive to officially prohibit the political party from engaging in any political actions.
The High Court is set to hear the writ on a dual bench soon.
