Hajj primary registration deadline set for Oct 23
The government has urged Hajj aspirants to complete their primary registration by October 23, according to a notice from the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Hajj Wing.
The announcement, signed by Md Abu Bakkar Siddik, the ministry’s public relations officer, highlighted that tent allocation and service agreements with providers will begin on the same date, as per Saudi Arabia’s official roadmap.
The notice warned that delays in registration could result in difficulty securing desired zones for tent setups in Mina and Arafat. Late registrants might end up staying in more remote areas, such as New Mina or hillside locations, far from Jamarat, where they would face scorching heat and challenging conditions.
To complete the primary registration, aspiring pilgrims must deposit Tk 3 lakh in designated banks by the October 23 deadline.
