Four die as bus, truck collide in Tangail

Four people were killed and at least 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Tangail’s Kalihati early Friday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Elenga Highway police station’s officer-in-charge Md Nannu Khan, said a bus collided head-on with a truck in Kalihati link road on the Tangail-Mymensingh road around 1:00am, leaving four passengers of the bus dead on the spot and at least 10 injured.

The injured were sent to Tangail General Hospital and of them, three are in physical condition, he said.

Police seized the bus and the truck, he added.
