6 of a family die in Sunamganj fire

Six members of a family died in a fire that broke out in a house of Ashrayan Project in Sunamganj’s Dharmapasha on Monday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Enamul, 45, Poly Akter, 39, Palash Mia, 15, Fatema Akter, 7, Farhad, 13, and Omar Faruque.

The incident occurred at Shimer Khal Ashrayan Project under Jayasree union.

Dharmapasha police station’s officer-in-charge, Enamul Haque, confirmed the matter of six people’s deaths to Jago News.

“We are going to the spot. The fire is now under control,” he said, adding that the causes of the could not be known.
