47 SPs promoted to addl DIG

The government has promoted 47 officials of the rank of superintendent of police, SP, to the posts of additional deputy inspector general.
The Public Security Division issued a notification on Tuesday (September 24), promoting the BCS police cadre’s officials.
Among the promoted officials, 12 are working as superintendents of district police.
