6 senior police officials on forced retirement

The government has sent six senior officials of Bangladesh Police on compulsory retirement.

They are Railway Police chief Additional Inspector General Debdas Bhattacharya, AKM Hafiz Akter, deputy IGP of Industrial Police, Bashir Ahmed, deputy IGP of Police Telecom, Dhaka, Md Mizanur Rahman, superintendent of Range Reserve Force, RRF, Md Rafiqul Islam, assistant superintendent of Armed Police Battalion, APBn, and Md Dadak Fakir, assistant superintendent of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued six separate notifications in this regard on Sunday.
