Gold price hits record high of Tk 1.33 lakh per bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has raised the price of gold by Tk 3,149 to Tk 1,33,051 per bhori, the highest rise in the country's history till Saturday (September 21).
The association said it hiked the price following an increase in the price of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices will come into effect from Sunday (September 22).
