Ex-Home Minister’s son arrested

Dhaka district police have arrested Safi Mudassir Khan Joty, son of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, in a case filed at Ashulia police station.

He was arrested from Ashualia area in Dhaka on Friday night. 

Ahmed Mueed, superintendent of police (SP) of Dhaka, confirmed the arrest to Jago News. 

Further legal action is underway in this regard, he said.
