The meeting is expected to begin at 10:55 am at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka.

This will be the first visit by any US delegation since the interim government, led by Professor Yunus, assumed power on August 8. During the visit, the delegation will be led by Assistant Secretary of State for the US Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, who is currently visiting New Delhi.

The delegation will include representatives from the US Department of the Treasury, USAID, and the Office of the US Trade Representative.
