Appointments of 8 new DCs cancelled
The appointments of eight out of the 59 newly appointed deputy commissioners have been cancelled.
Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, confirmed the decision while speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The government made this decision in response to the demands of the deprived officials.
Mokhlesur Rahman stated that the fit list is prepared by a selection committee, which met today. Following an immediate review, the appointments of eight individuals have been cancelled.
