Truck kills school teacher

A school teacher was killed when a truck hit a motorcycle carrying him at Chourhas area in Kushtia on Tuesday.

The deceased is Tarikul Islam, teacher of Ailechora High School of Kushtia sadar upazila.

Locals said, Tarikul was returning his home by motorcycle. At that time, a truck coming from opposition hit his motorcycle and Trarikul was killed on the spot.

In this connection, Officer-in-charge of Shahabuddin Chowdhury said, police recovered the dead body and sent it to hospital.

They also detained the truck drive with his truck, he added.
