Committee formed to develop legal framework for naming state instts
An advisory council committee has been formed to develop a legal framework for naming state institutions or establishments.
A gazette notification was issued by the Cabinet Department in this regard on Wednesday.
The four-member committee is chaired by Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
The other members are Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperative Adviser AF Hassan Ariff, Industrial Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan and Environment, Forest and Climate Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan.
The committee has been asked to develop a legal framework for naming state institutions and establishments and to present it for government consideration.
The committee may co-opt additional members if needed and hold meetings as required. The Cabinet Division will provide secretarial support.
