CEC to address media on resignation Thursday

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal has called a press conference regarding his resignation from the position.

The press conference will be held at 12pm on Thursday.

The CEC confirmed the information to the journalists at the Election Commission in the capital’s Agargaon on Wednesday.

When asked about his resignation, the CEC told journalists that he would provide details on Thursday. Everything will be addressed at the press conference at 12 pm. 

When asked when he would meet the President, he said he will go to meet the President tomorrow.
