The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement will hold a ‘Shahidi March’ on Thursday to mark the one-month anniversary of the fall of the Awami League government on August 5 amid a mass uprising.

The march will start from in front of the Raju Sculpture at Dhaka University at 3pm.

Additionally, the coordinators of the movement will begin visiting districts and divisional cities across the country from Friday.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at TSC of Dhaka University on Wednesday.

Sarjis Alam, one of the coordinators of the movement, requested that family members of those who were martyred in the student and public movements participate in the march.

Another coordinator Abu Bakr Majumdar said the anti-discrimination student movement will start visiting the districts and divisional cities from September 6 to mobilise everyone. We will talk to the people, find out what they want. We will also give some advice. Then we will implement what people want.
