Eid-ul-Azha on September 25

Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated throughout the country on September 25, a press release of Islamic Foundation says.

This was decided at a full committee meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee today held at the Islamic Foundation office at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque here.

The committee came to the conclusion that as the moon for the month of Jilhaaj was not sighted anywhere in the country today therefore the Holy month of Jilhaaj would start tomorrow.

And Eid will be held on September 25 which is the 10th day of Jilhaaj, 1436.

According to the Bengali calendar it will be Ashwin 22, 1422.
