Dhaka, 23 other districts get new SPs

A total of twenty-four districts including Dhaka got new superintendents of police on Tuesday.  

The Police-1 branch of the Public Security Division of the Home Ministry, issued a gazette notification in this regard.

Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbur Rahman Sheikh signed the notification by order of the President.

As per the notification, Mohammad Sharif Uddin of Rangpur’s Police Training Centre has been posted to Rangpur as SP, Md Abul Kalam Azad of Police Bureau of Investigation to Gazipur as SP, Md Afiquzzaman Akter of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to Cumilla as SP, Ahmmed Muyeen of Police Headquarters to Dhaka as SP, Myemensingh Range DIG MD Faruk Hossain to Sirajganj as SP, Rayhan Uddin Khan of Anti-Terrorism Unit to Chattogram as SP, Md Bashir Ahmed of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to Manikganj as SP, Md Azizul Islam of Neval police to Mymensingh as SP, Md Mosharraf Hossain of Police Headquarters to Gaibandha as SP, Md Rezaul Haque Khan to Habiganj as SP, Md Anisuzzaman of Noakhali In-service Training Centre to Rajshahi as SP and Muhammad Shamsul Alam Sarker of Highway police to Munshiganj as SP.  

Additionally, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman of Police Headquarters has been posted to Sylhet as SP, Prottus Kumar Mojumder of DMP to Narayanganj as SP, Md Marufat Hossain of CID to Natore as SP, Md Mortoza Ali Khan of Neval police to Pabna as SP, Anwar Jahid of Rajarbagh Police Telecom to Patuakhali as SP, Md Touhidul Arif of Tourist police to Bagerhat as SP, Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury of Railway police to Kishoreganj as SP, Mohammad Monzur Morshed of Tourist police to Jhenaidah as SP, Mina Mahmuda of Neval police to Magura as SP, Md Saiful Islam Santu of Rajarbagh central police hospital to Tangail as SP, Ziauddin Ahmmed of DMP to Jashore as SP and Md Abdul Hannan of Habiganj In-service Training Centre to Narsingdi as SP.
