Abdul Muyeed appointed as new chairman of Biman

Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, an adviser of the former caretaker government, has been appointed as the new chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

He will replace Mostofa Kamal Uddin in the charge. 

A gazette notification was issued appointing him as the new chairman on Sunday. 

Rumana Yasmin, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism signed the notification.

Abdul Muyeed previously served as an adviser of the caretaker government led by Justice Latifur Rahman, which was formed in 2001.
