73 Addl DIGs promoted to DIG

The government promoted seventy-three Additional Deputy Inspectors General (Addl DIGs) to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the police on Sunday.
Out of the newly promoted DIGs, 63 police officials were promoted by creating posts under the supernumerary system.
The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued two gazette notifications in this regard.
Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbur Rahman Sheikh signed the notifications by order of the President.
The promoted officials have also been instructed to join to the Secretary of the Public Security Division.
