Four ministries, President's Office get new secretaries
The interim government-led by Nobel laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus on Saturday appointed five retired additional secretaries as secretaries of four ministries and the President's Office on a contractual basis.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard today saying that they have been appointed on a two-year contract from the date of joining.
Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen has been appointed secretary of Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs while Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid has been made secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division.
Md Ehchanul Haque has been made secretary of Road Transport and Highways Division while M A Akmal Hossain Azad has been appointed as secretary of the Ministry of Railways.
Nasimul Gani has been made secretary of Public Division of the President's Office.
