Illegal English medium schools to be shut

To curb militancy from the country authorities have taken an initiative to shut at least 1000 English medium schools across the country.

To be stricter against terrorism and militancy Secondary and Higher Education department has already drafted a proposal to fixed school fees and school policy.

Secondary and Higher Education department sources said department has already sent letters to the English medium schools which now in residential area to shift their campuses to commercial areas within a short period.

According to the sources, there are only 159 legal English medium schools across the country where 1000 schools running the academic curriculum without proper documents and papers.

In the new draft the education department is going to fix tk 30, ooo as admission fees.
