India wants to continue working with interim govt: Pranay

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma has said his country wants to continue working with the interim government of Bangladesh for the benefit of the people of both countries.

The Indian High Commissioner told reporters following a courtesy meeting with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Wednesday.  

He said, it was just a courtesy meeting today. There was no agenda. India wants to continue working with the interim government for the benefit of the people of both countries.

Pranay Verma said that there was no specific discussion regarding former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who is currently in India.
