Bangla Academy DG resigns

Professor Dr Md Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari has resigned as the director general of Bangladesh Academy, just 23 days after joining office.

Nargis Sanzida Sultana, deputy director of the sub-wing of public relations office of the academy, said in a statement on Saturday.

He was appointed the director general of Bangla Academy on July 18.
