Bangladeshi killed by BSF in Kurigram

Members of Border Security Force (BSF) of India have killed a Bangladeshi national by shooting at Datvanga border area in Raomari upazila of Kurigram district.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Amin, 32, son of Mokshed Ali Munsi hailing from Khetarchar village in the upazila.

Mizanur Rahman, commander of Datvanga BOP said a team of 10-15 Bangladeshi national intruded into India border through Datvanga to bring cattle illegally on Monday night.

After sensing the presence of Bangladeshi nationals in their territory BSF members of Dipchar camp opened fire on them, leaving Nurul Amin dead on spot by bullet.

Later, his associates recovered his body and bring back to Bangladesh.

Lt. Colonel Mohammad Rofiqul Hasan, PSC, Commander of Jamalpur BGB-35 said I am going to visit the area and we are trying to arrange a flag meeting with BSF in this regard.
