Strict action against anarchy, police stations to resume in 24hrs

The armed forces and law enforcement agencies have decided to take a firm stance against the ongoing anarchy in the country. 

This decision was made during a meeting held on Thursday at the Army Headquarters, chaired by Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman.

The meeting was attended by chief of naval staff, chief of air staff, the newly appointed Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the Rapid Action Battalion, and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner.

Discussions focused on resuming activities at all police stations across the country within the next 24 hours, with an appeal for public support in this effort, according to a release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
