12 cars ready for interim govt members
Twelve cars are being prepared for the members of the interim government, set to be sworn in tonight following the fall of Sheikh Hasina's administration.
The head of the interim government and other members will take their oaths at 8:30 pm, with all preparations for the ceremony already completed.
As part of the preparations, the Cabinet Division has arranged for 12 cars. Initially, the government’s transport pool was asked to prepare 25 vehicles, and from these, 12 were selected and sent to the Cabinet Division for today's ceremony. These cars will transport the interim government members to Bangabhaban for the swearing-in.
The head of the interim government has been allotted a BMW 7 Series car, while other members will receive either a Toyota Camry hybrid model or a Mitsubishi Lancer EX model.
Officials at the Cabinet Division stated that the vehicles will first go to the homes of the interim government members, who will then be taken to Bangabhaban for the ceremony.
