No bar on Diganta TV’s broadcast

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has withdrawn the suspension order of the broadcast of Diganta Television after around 11 years.
The ministry withdrew the order following an application of the private television channel authorities on Thursday.
It also sent a copy of the order to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
In 2013, the then Awami League government temporarily closed the broadcast of Diganta Television on allegations of airing provocative programmes.
