Additional Attorney General SM Munir resigns
Additional Attorney General SM Munir has resigned from his post.
He submitted his resignation letter to the office of Attorney General on Thursday.
Munir himself confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The government appointed Munir, also former General Secretary of Supreme Court Bar Association, as Additional Attorney General on September 1, 2020.
The Awami League government fell on August 5 in the face of a mass uprising. The reshuffle in various departments of the government including the administration started following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina.
Earlier on Wednesday, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin and Additional Attorney General Sheikh Mohammad Morshed resigned from their respective posts.
