Immigration sends back journalist Shyamal from Akhaura

The Akhaura Immigration authorities in Brahmanbaria stopped and sent back Jatiya Prass Club general secretary Shyamal Dutta on Tuesday while going to India.

He along with his wife and children were trying to go to India through Akhaura land port around 3:00pm but the authorities sent back him as there is a travel ban, an immigration source said.

The immigration in-charge police inspector Khairul Alam said Shyamal Dutta, also editor of daily Bhorer Kagoj, returned from the immigration.
