I’m not detained: Harun

Former additional commissioner of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Harun Or Rashid, on Tuesday said that he was not in custody and now stays at home.

He told Jago News over the phone after a news spread that he was detained at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

“I went to the office this morning and found no one present there. Later, I returned home,” he said.

Claiming that he did not go to the airport on Monday as it was closed, Harun said the news of his departure from the country is a rumour.
