Protesters block Science Lab demanding govt’s resignation

Protesting students under the banner of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement on Sunday blocked Science Lab intersection demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and all members of the cabinet.

More than fifty students took to the streets at 10am which suspended vehicular movement in the area.

They chanted slogans such as, ‘Ek, Dui, Tin, Char Hasina Godi Char’, ‘Ei Banglay Hobe Na, Boishommer Thikana’, ‘Atharoar Hatiyar, Gorje Utho Arekbar’, ‘Amar Sonar Banglay, Boishommer Thai Nai’, ‘Esho Bhai Eso Boan, Gore Tuli Andolon’.

However, there was no visible presence of law enforcement members in the area.
