Gas supply to remain shut in parts of Dhaka for 9hrs on Friday

Gas supply will remain suspended in different areas of the capital from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Friday due to gas pipeline replacement works.

The Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited announced this in a notice on Thursday.  

The areas where gas supply will remain off are Mughda, Ahmed Bagh, Kodomtola, Basabo, Bouddon Mondir and Sabujbagh. All kinds of gas supply will remain halted during the specified time, said Titas.

Consumers in adjoining areas may experience low pressure in gas supply, Titas said.

The gas distribution company apologised for the temporary inconvenience to its customers.
