3 drug peddlers held with huge yaba pills in Lakshmipur

Police in a drive arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 1,600 pieces of yaba tablets from Dalal Bazaar area in Lakshmipur on Monday.

The arrested are Nurul Amin Patwari, 65, of Nandigram under Chandraganj upazila, Sajib, 19, of Badarpur under Ramganj upazila of Lakshmipur district and Abdul Mutaleb, 32, of Nivoipur village in Comilla Sadar upazila.

Being informed police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio and recovered the yaba tablets from a house.

A case was filed in this connection.
