All public and private offices resumed on Wednesday after three-day general holiday. Both public and private offices will remain opened from 11am to 3pm.

However, the ongoing curfew will remain relaxed in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narsingdi districts from 10am to 5pm.

The concerned authorities announced these decisions on Tuesday.

A Bangladesh Bank source said the banking activities will be carried out on a limited basis in designated branches of some banks across the country from 11am to 3pm. The decision on which branches will remain opened will be made by the respective banks.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court, in a statement, on Tuesday evening, said the judicial functions of all the courts across the country, including the Appellate and High Court divisions of the Supreme Court, will continue on Wednesday and Thursday.

The government imposed curfew and deployed army on Friday midnight amid countrywide student protests that turned violent. Following that Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were declared as general holidays across the country.
