Nine foreigners among 10 held with fake currency in city

In a drive from Sunday night to Monday morning members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 10 people including nine foreigners along with huge amount of fake currency at Bashundhara residential area in the city.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

Mufti Mahmud Khan, captain of Rab`s media wing said acting on secret information a team of elite forces conducted a drive in city’s Bashundhara residential area and arrested 10 people including foreigners.

During the drive Rab also recovered huge amount of fake currency from their possession.
