Quota protesters to continue 'Bangla Blockade' on Thursday

Students opposing the quota system in the government jobs will continue their nationwide 'Bangla Blockade' program on Thursday.

Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement', announcement this around 7:30 pm on Wednesday after lifting blockade of the Shahbagh intersection in the capital Dhaka.

He said general students will observe the Bangla Blokade across the country from 3 pm tomorrow seeking the government form a commission for a rational solution of the quota system.

Today students observed blockade program across the country to demand the reformation of the quota system in the government jobs.

They have been protesting for several days against the High Court's order reinstating quotas in government jobs.
